Personally I look at their profile and find if we have the same interest first..Most of the women I have met and become friends with we all like animals and have a dog..I just tell them I looked at your profile and the picture of your dog is so cute..What kind of dog is it..and go from there..If you don;t get an answer drop it and move on to the next person..also read if they are looking to make new friends or only on there for friends and family that they already have.
I would just be honest. Tell the person that you stumbled across their profile and you thought they looked like an interesting person to know. Tell a little about what it was that intrigued you such as a common interest or a thoughtful way of telling stories. Offer a little information about yourself that might be of interest to the other person. DON’T just write a person because you think they are “hot”, find something in their profiles to connect with.
A few tips: remember that if they don’t befriend you, it might not be anything personal. Perhaps they seldom use myspace or use it only to keep in contact with a specific group of people. Keep trying and you will find more friends. Secondly, if the person does friend you then you need to actually write the person and make an effort to forge a friendship.
Lol, I did that when I first moved because I didn’t have any way to meet new people in the area.
I actually just leveled with them about it and told them just that. I figured if they thought I was a weirdo then it just wasn’t meant to be. I actually have made some great friends that way.
