When i made y facebook account i wasn’t old enough to have one, so i lied about my age. But now im 13 and am finally old enough to have one. So what if i say on fbook that im 13 like in my info box where it asks you to describe yourself, and facebook finds out my real age. will they delete my account cuz i lied even though im old enough.

    no. facebook doesn’t care. it doesn’t matter. i mean, do you really think the team of people who run facebook have time to look around for kids who pretend to be slightly older than they really are, when they should be out there getting me a dislike button? i mean, you’re one teen out of millions. besides, the only real point behind the 13 rule was to keep THEM protected in case you got in trouble with like a pedophile or something. then if you were underage and tried to sue them they wouldn’t be liable and stuff. that’s about it.
    in fact, you can change your age to be right if you want to.
    go to your profile.
    under your picture, click Edit My Profile.
    click Basic Information (the first one).
    fix your birthday to the desired date.
